Motus Integrated Technologies is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager Near Battle Creek, MI

As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and you will be responsible for leading the CI initiatives designed to eliminate non-value-added activities while improving operations excellence at the plant with emphasis on sustainable development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Customer scorecard reporting process to track performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Identify, coach and lead cross-functional teams in lean projects and events
  • Set vision and milestones for achievement at all levels of the organization
  • Full understanding of the P&L and demonstrates ability to support EBITDA improvement through project definition and completion
  • Data driven in actions, decision making and reporting
  • Break down barriers and generate excitement around continuous improvement activities by generating a total CI culture.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills through personal performance and enhancement in the performance other individuals and overall team
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and mentor teams through practical applications

Minimum Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering required
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, preferred
  • Multi-plant experience with global responsibility a plus
  • Automotive industry experience a plus
