Mott MacDonald is actively growing its water practice particularly in Denver, CO and central Florida. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the Project Manager on small to large and simple to complex projects. You will also lead the technical development of proposals.
The position offers excellent potential for professional growth and the opportunity to collaborate not only with water resources personnel, but with our many practices including dams, geotechnical, energy, and transportation. The qualified candidate must have strong leadership and program management experience and direct business development experience during their career, with the ability to generate project leads, build client relationships, and win work.
Responsibilities are as follows:

• Serve as project manager on small to large and simple to complex projects with multi-discipline project teams.
• Supervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Supervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities.
• Supervise and direct construction engineering support services.
• Lead the technical development of proposals.

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)
• Depending on office location, FL or CO PE (or able to obtain within 6-months)
• 10 years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility clients
• For FL candidates, experience working with utilities in Tampa, Orlando, or along the I-4 corridor is preferred, but not required
• For CO candidates, experience with Denver Water is preferred, but not required
• Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water or wastewater treatment plants
• For senior project managers, 5 years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams
• 5 years experience in managing proposals for engineering projects
• Experience in managing and growing client relationships

In compliance with the Pay Transparency Act for Colorado, the expected salary range is from $100,000 - $130,000. Multiple factors such as qualifications, overall experience and position responsibilities will be used to determine the successful candidate's actual salary within the expected range.
