Mott MacDonald's Bay Area offices are looking for project engineers specializing in water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure to join our team. In this role you will be preparing plans and specifications, providing construction engineering support and working alongside junior and senior members of the teams for a variety of projects ranging from small to large.
This position can sit in any of our Bay Area offices such as Oakland, San Jose, San Ramon or San Francisco.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conduct planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects
• Prepare plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities
• Provide construction engineering support services including submittal reviews, on-site observation, clarification of design, etc.
• Work under supervision of a senior project manager
• Supervise junior engineers on project teams
• Collaborate with other project team members in other disciplines
• Assist with project management
• Assist with proposals and client relationships

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• BS degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering
• 5 to 10 years experience in planning, design, and/or construction management of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects
• CA PE preferred, or ability to obtain CA PE within 6 months of hire

Salary Range: $110,000- $160,000
