The Public Safety Field Events Marketing Manager, within the Associations and Partnerships Marketing Team is responsible for overseeing, organizing, streamlining and planning the Field Event Opportunities for the Motorola Solutions Portfolio. The success of the Public Safety Field Events Marketing Manager will depend heavily on teamwork with our Event Marketing, Field Marketing and Pipeline Expansion Marketing teams.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with overall Motorola Solutions and objectives, including large flagship events with significant brand presence, smaller events, and local drop-off events, all at scale.

  • Event Planning: Oversee end-to-end event planning, including budgeting, logistics, venue selection, vendor management, booth properties and the development of event timelines for a wide range of events.

  • Event Follow-up: Track and maintain post event activities including event tagging and lead follow up to ensure marketing investment is being measured correctly.

  • Marketing Integration: Collaborate with the Field Marketing, Events Marketing, and Pipeline Expansion Marketing teams to ensure event marketing plans are aligned with overall marketing strategies, encompassing pre-event, on-site, and post-event efforts across all product markets.

  • Organization: Around Motorola Solutions Events calendars ensuring proper representation across the entire events landscape

  • Collaborate with Management on tier 1 event planning, strategy and support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience and operational knowledge of public safety businesses and enterprise events.

  • Highly proficient organizational and planning skills.

  • Strong project management, written and verbal communication skills when working across multiple cross-functional teams.

  • 5 years of professional experience in a public safety environment.
