At Motorola Solutions, we're ushering in a new era in public safety and security.Security Analyst: Supports and administers organizational security plans and operations. Executes procedures and processes to provide physical protection for personnel and company property and meet required codes and regulations. Compiles data for loss control and accident reports. Supports and conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies. Maintains records, manuals, and documentation. Coordinates and administers security clearances and other security policies and procedures in accordance with the Department of Defense or appropriate agencies
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary advisor to the Motorola Solutions Federal Regional Vice President (RVP) on all industrial security matters
Act as the main point of contact to the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other Cognizant Security Offices
Interact routinely with both internal and external customers to support program-related activities
Ensure compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, DCIDS, Executive Orders, and other applicable government security directives
Possess a working knowledge of the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) regulations
Develop and administer security education classes for cleared personnel, covering a range of topics including Initial and Refresher security briefings, Security Debriefings, Courier briefings, Insider Threat Awareness, SEAD 3 requirements, Operations Security (OPSEC), Controlled Unclassified Information, and Foreign Travel briefings/debriefings
Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS), National Background Investigation Services (NBIS), National Industrial Security Program Central Access Information Security System (NCAISS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmissions (SWFT), Synchronized Pre-deployment & Operational Tracker (SPOT), and Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) systems
Conduct self-inspections and manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel
Apply knowledge of various security disciplines (personnel security, information security, operations security, cybersecurity, and industrial security) to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs
Support personnel clearance processing for multiple government agencies, including verifying/confirming clearance/accesses of new and current employees
Process incoming and outgoing visit authorizations for personnel
Availability to respond to after-hours alarms and emergency conditions
Demonstrate excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
Operate independently and showcase the ability to analyze problems and identify effective solutions
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance
FSO Program Management Non-Possessing Facilities or Possessing Facilities (within 6 months of hire) certificate and ITP Training
3 years of experience within a security officer position
Must be a U.S. citizen
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
