Motivate LLC is looking for a Facilities Specialist to join our New York Facilities team. The Facilities team oversees facilities renovation and maintenance across our sites throughout the NY metro area while also being the champion for occupational safety for employees. This hard-working team is led by the Facilities Manager, who spearheads projects and safety initiatives to maintain safety and cleanliness at all facilities. As a facilities specialist, you will provide hands-on cleaning and maintenance services, helping to complete minor repairs or installations, and troubleshoot site problems related to carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, and wall repairs. About the Role: Repairs and Preventative Maintenance: Successfully respond and resolve ticket requests, ensuring ticket closures are timely Work to identify repair needs, as well as cost-effective, practical solutions Conduct required site inspections for preventative maintenance and safety Assist facilities team with site startups and shutdowns Commercial Housekeeping: Complete daily cleaning tasks assigned at locations in NY/NJ Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, restroom cleaning etc.) Complete daily and/or weekly disinfection at key sites Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities with an eye for detail Carry out special cleansing tasks and support special projects as needed About You: Resourceful: Ability to find innovative ways to overcome obstacles or solve problems.
