Our client, a healthcare company based in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for a Tableau consultant for a 9-month contract to work fully remote from either Eastern or Central time zone.
You will migrate, and rebuild, an existing stack of Tableau reports and dashboards from an on-premises Tableau/Microsoft SQL server environment to Tableau utilizing AWS Redshift serverless as the adjacent data store. You must have 2 years of enterprise experience working with Tableau connecting to a cloud data provider back-end (AWS strongly preferred though we will be willing to consider candidates who have used Tableau with other cloud data stores). You should have a strong understanding of security and other best practices in relation to developing and maintaining reports and dashboards. Also required is an understanding and practical experience optimizing Tableau reports and dashboards to extract the best performance against the underlying cloud infrastructure. Prior healthcare experience with claims and enrollment data highly preferred, though not mandatory.
3 years' experience developing Tableau reports and dashboards (at least 2 years' experience using cloud-based data sources specifically).

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with senior leadership and other team members to rebuild and maintain dashboards in Tableau
Maintain good code and design documentation and adhere to software lifecycle expectations including applicable configuration control
Have a design, code, unit test, document results mentality to all reports/dashboards developed or migrated, before handing off to Quality control team for further testing
Professionally effective within a fast paced and business objective driven environment, self-managing deliverables and maintaining accountability to self and the team
Work collaboratively with stakeholders like Project Management, Vendor/Customer partners, other business function representatives and end users in an Agile/Waterfall hybrid delivery environment
Collaborate with the Infrastructure team members and AWS data developers as required to meet analytics deliverables
Adhere to all applicable client policies and procedures including IT Service Management and Security policies
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient with or able to quickly learn the software and applications used in the organization and the industry
Ability to effectively present complex technical information to end users, coworkers, and management
