A technology solutions company is currently looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to support one of their major clients based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This individual will be helping a government client deploy Rancher managed Kubernetes in an on prem, data center environment. They will also work within AWS and use infrastructure-as-code technologies as well as CI/CD tools to streamline infrastructure and deployments.

This role will require someone on-site in Honolulu, Hawaii and may require occasional travel to Japan and other Indo-pacific countries. This engineer will also need to be able acquire a DoD security clearance or secret or higher. They can help with relocation costs as well as cost of the clearance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Ability to live and work in Honolulu, Hawaii
• Strong Linux system administration background
• Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, Git Ops tooling, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience with deployment of Kubernetes in an air-gapped environment
• Familiarity with DoD systems
• Experience architecting high availability services
• Strong technical communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• DoD Secret Clearance is highly preferred
• Networking experience
