Overview

Motion RC is a global e-commerce company that sells toy and hobby model products including radio-controlled (RC) airplanes, helicopters, boats, cars, tanks, trucks, and accessories. We have recently opened our new office in Gurnee, IL, and we have created a dedicated space for product photography. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual who has experience photographing consumer products. This exciting “greenfield” opportunity will involve selecting photography equipment, setting up the photography studio, and taking photographs of a wide range of consumer products. Primary Responsibilities

• Select all equipment needed for the new photography studio including furniture, lighting, gantry, backdrops, and cameras.
• Build out a photography studio with new equipment to allow for both small-scale and large-sized products to be photographed.
• Pull products from the warehouse and take high-quality photographs ensuring conformity to company specifications.
• Train team members to assist in product photography.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure product photographs highlight impactful product features and meet business requirements.
• Work with Marketing Team to identify products that have outdated or suboptimal product photographs and update as needed.

Requirements

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of photography and photo studio equipment
• Proven experience in product photography
• Current portfolio or other examples of recently produced consumer product imagery
• Ability to work independently
• High School Diploma or GED
