Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver with their own vehicles to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering items safely and accurately.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles such as vans, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers
- Load and unload goods and products onto the delivery vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, mileage records, and customer signatures
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, including vans, tractor-trailers, or refrigerated trailers
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and address inquiries or concerns promptly
- Familiarity with local roads and routes for efficient navigation
