POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Shared Services team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in the delivery and implementation of key HR initiatives, including employee relations, engagement, leadership development, talent and performance management, and broad-based people strategies. This will be achieved through a direct and consultative partnership with the executive leaders of the Corporate Shared Services team. Furthermore, as the HR Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our focus and commitment to improving the employee experience, retention, and fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with Moss's core values.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership teams, enhancing relationships, guiding performance, and ensuring the preservation and promotion of our company culture
  • Manage continuous performance management process and champion employee engagement aligned with Moss's vision and strategic goals
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues promptly, reducing organizational risk and maintaining a harmonious work environment
  • Conduct thorough investigations in collaboration with HR and legal teams, providing evidence-based recommendations
  • Coordinate compensation planning with Total Rewards, rewarding high performers according to their business impact
  • Design and deliver a range of training on performance, leadership, culture, compliance, and development in conjunction with Talent Development
  • Facilitate succession planning and career development programs, ensuring that talent pipelines are aligned with organizational growth objectives and that team members have clear advancement pathways and the support needed to progress in their careers
  • Conduct regular audits of the workplace, stay updated on relevant issues and regulations, and analyze HR-related data to advise management
  • Analyze data that may include turnover reporting headcount summaries, exit interview data, internal/external market data and make recommendations to management based upon analysis
  • Oversee the talent acquisition efforts for the business units or divisions they support, including supervising a recruiter(s) and an HR generalist(s), to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to sourcing, assessing, and integrating talent into the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 6-8 years of progressive HR Manager or Business Partner related experience in construction management, sustainable energy or related industry where you were responsible for managing HR for field operations
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong analytical skills to leverage data and a fact-base in delivering HR programs and strategies that effectively address business issues
  • Proven strategic HR coaching skills with a demonstrated track record of exceptional client service delivery in a matrixed organization
  • Track record of achieving results that contribute significantly to the business
  • Sound business judgment with strong planning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather and analyze facts and data and draw correct inferences from the information; weighs alternatives and presents logical solutions to problems
  • Demonstrates the ability to review and proofread work for accuracy and complete specific aspects of assignments, as directed. Concentrates on tasks at hand, even in distracting work environments
  • Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and information in a clear, concise, organized, and diplomatic manner; ask appropriate questions in order to obtain information; listen to others to respond effectively to ideas and questions. Present prepared information to individual and groups in a manner that is clear and concise, holds their interest and addresses their needs or concerns
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
  • Demonstrates the ability to make practical, realistic, and timely decisions after considering facts, available organizational resources and potential risks; use reason when dealing with sensitive topics
  • Demonstrates the ability to efficiently manage own time, activities, and resources. Identify specific activities required to accomplish objectives, rank them in order of importance, and coordinate and take action to achieve desired results; prioritize complex multiple activities and projects. Recommends improvements to prevent reemergence of resolved issues
