Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our members and employees.

Duties:

- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the security of the property
- Enforce access control procedures by checking identification, verifying credentials, and granting or denying entry as necessary
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical situations or fire incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of criminal activities or emergencies
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting members, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Requirements:
- Valid security certificate or license is required
- Prior experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or military is preferred
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent observation skills to identify potential security risks or threats
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have a high level of integrity and ethical conduct

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
