Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, developing lesson plans, and implementing effective teaching strategies. This is a Hillsdale Member Classical School.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the individual needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters student growth
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in active learning
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including literacy education, mathematics, science, and social studies
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and educational professionals to develop and implement effective teaching practices
- Support the social-emotional development of students through mentoring and guidance
- Participate in curriculum development activities to enhance the educational experience for students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and progress

- Be committed to a classical education

Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure accurate instructional materials
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies and techniques
- Ability to mentor and guide students in their academic journey
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices
- Understanding of education administration processes and procedures
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus

Pay: $40,726.24 - $45,000.00 per year
