Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Art Gallery SALES Associate, supporting the owner / director of the Gallery. The Gallery Associate will be responsible for selling art successfully on the gallery floor while meeting weekly sales targets, recruiting new clients through marketing, manage events and sponsorships, assisting with exhibition, and assist with social media accounts and website.

SALARY : Base Plus Commission

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales (idealy art and luxury)
• A degree in Art History, Studio Art, and / or Art Admin
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Social Media Marketing - Linkedin, Instagram, FB, Youtube
• Familiarity with art selling techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Proficiency Mailchimp, Canva, Adobe Creative
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented and EXTREMELY organized
• A very competent writer with experience writing about art and design
