Morrow County Health District is Hiring a Patient Business Office Representative Near Heppner, OR

Morrow County Health District has a full-time opening for the Patient Business Office Representative at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner, Oregon. Heppner is a wonderful small town that has amazing schools and friendly residents in beautiful Eastern Oregon and is great for the outdoor enthusiast. This position is responsible for various duties involving insurance carriers, working claims and follow up, assisting with month end process, utilizing claims clearinghouse, working account receivable reports and work within insurance portals.

Requirements include:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be bondable.
High level experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Must be detail oriented and task driven and have excellent customer service skills and composure.
Prior medical office experience highly preferred, especially with Electronic Health Record and billing processes.
Background check and drug screen required.

Starting wage range $23.01 to $25.41 DOQ with step increase after 4-month probationary period and Cost of Living Adjustment July 1.
