Morristown Driver's Service, a fast-growing transportation company, is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time accounting specialist position. This clerical position will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as customer billing, driver payroll support, fuel tax reporting, and accounts receivable payment application. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quick and accurate data entry
• Invoice customers for freight delivery
• Mail/email and scan documents of customers into operating system
• Prepare weekly pay settlements for a subset of employees.
• Process customer payments to A/R ledger
• Prepare quarterly fuel tax reports.
• Reconcile/track owner operator escrow and loan balances.
• Answer questions customer invoices and payments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred; but not required.
• 1-3 years accounting experience preferred.
• Great Plains Software experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Word
• Numbers oriented.
• Accurate 10-key abilities
• Customer service skills, both in person and on the phone
• Organizational and time management skills
• Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment in a team setting
