Morrison-Maierle is looking for entry-level Civil Engineers to join any of our Morrison-Maierle locations. This is a full-time position but, for the right individual, a 30-hour part-time position would be considered.

Opportunity: Morrison-Maierle is recruiting to fill an entry-level civil engineering position. Duties will include working under the direction of the Project Manager and Task Managers in the execution of project-related duties. Significant engineering support will be focused on air carriers and general aviation airports.

 Project Types: Airports, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Municipal, Healthcare, Government, Hospitality, and Mining.

• Air carrier and general aviation airport projects
• Runway, Taxiway, Apron construction and reconstruction
• Stormwater drainage and conveyance
• Pavement condition analyses
• Lighting system design and construction
• Security system design and construction
• Navigational aid design and airspace protection
• Aircraft rescue and firefighting training centers
• Air Traffic Control Towers
• Terminals, hangars, and other airfield facility developments
• Land acquisitions
• Master Plan and Airport Layout updates
• Environmental Assessments

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• 0 to 4 years experience in the Civil Engineering industry. Engineer Intern certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
•  Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus; Site design and/or construction background or construction inspection experience, Excel, and Word are also a plus.
•  Individuals must have a strong interest in becoming proficient with FAA regulations, design criteria, and administration of FAA grants.

Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
