Accounting Controller 

We are actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Accounting Controller to join our organization in Lebanon, TN just minutes from Nashville. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience and expertise in financial management, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing the preparation, analysis, and distribution of the company's consolidated financial statements. The Accounting Controller roll further involves skillfully managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes to ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and relevant financial reports. This pivotal position will report directly to the Director of Finance, requiring a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity within the organization.
Job Duties:

• Oversee general ledger and accounting functions and systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate financial accounts.
• Manage the month end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and parent company.
• Review all systems and reports to ensure proper inventory control, and that movement and counts of inventory are accurately reflected in the financial records.
• Coordinate physical inventory.
• Support analytical needs including project analysis and variance reporting.
• Manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.
• Coordination with tax accountant on annual tax returns.
• Assist with preparation of the annual forecast.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant Business degree
• 7 years in accounting role preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite
• Strong computer skills
