- We have an opening for a full-time HUMAN MILK/FORMULA SPECIALIST position.
- Location: Cleveland Clinic- 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195. Note: online applications accepted only.
- Schedule: Shifts will vary. Includes some evening/weekend/holiday shifts. More details upon interview. Open availability from 7am-7pm
- Requirement: Required Hospital experience preferred. Adult and pediatric formulas.
- Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00
- Upon completion of technican course, rate will increase to $22 an hour

Job Summary
Summary: Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for BM and Formula management, data collection, and diet office functions, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have math and computer skills.
- Able to follow recipes and identify correct recipes per reports.
- Prepares and distributes supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in an accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible for the preparation, distribution, inventory and management of human/donor milk and/or infant formula.
- Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
- Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state and TJC.
- Completes all required documentation, reports and logs.
- Follows facility and department infection-control policies and procedures.
- Participates in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care.
- Must pass competencies and Breast Milk/Infant Formula Technician Course.
- Applicants also have to be able to stand for long periods of time, mixing breast milk or formulas.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
