Certified Nursing Assistant/Full Time OR Part Time/7a-3pm, Every Other Weekend

We offer pay starting at $16.00 hr. with applicable shift differentials, additional base pay for experience and includes benefits! This shift is 7:00a-3:00p, with flexibility of full time OR part time. Candidates must have prior senior caregiving experience, Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.

A Typical Day:

• Assists with the basic care of assigned group or residents striving to promote the resident’s independence in all areas.
• Provides personal care for residents, including any and all activities of daily living (ADL) as needed. Assists residents with dining needs including assistance to the dining room and assistance with in room dining service.
• Encourages resident independence and optimal level of functioning.
• Exercises standard precautions of infection control in all resident care.
• Utilizes plan of care in delivery of resident care.
• Receives and gives reports on resident’s condition at beginning and end of each shift via walking rounds.
• Exchanges resident information with shift supervisor on an ongoing basis.
• Observes any changes in resident condition and report to the shift supervisor immediately.
• Communicates and cooperates with other members of multidisciplinary healthcare team to accomplish plan of care.
• Launders and iron residents’ personal items as needed.
• Documents accurately and on a timely basis all information regarding resident’s care in the EHR daily charting.
• Maintains a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor.
• Reads communication book every shift to stay up to date with resident needs.

What We Need From You :

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
• Ability to lift and/or carry weights of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written.
• Ability to read and comprehend numbers and written material.
• Interpersonal skills are necessary for exchanging information as well as maintaining a courteous relationship
  with the residents, families, visitors and Bishop Gadsden employees.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and in good physical health.
