Lead Restoration Technician
Who we are:
We are a full-service restoration firm serving the greater Denver/Boulder area, specializing in mold remediation for hypersensitive occupants. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Removal and cleanup of standing water
- Remediation of water damage
- Remediation of mold damage; specialized mold remediation
- Remediation of sewage damage
- Smoke and Fire damage
- Clean-up and handling of biohazard materials

Our service area is the greater Denver/Boulder/Fort Collins area so you must be willing to drive directly to jobsites within this area when necessary.
Pay and Benefits:
· $28-32/hour depending upon relevant skills, work experience, training and certifications
· Core work hours: 8am-5pm; however, we are open 24/7 and respond to emergency situations on an as-needed basis
· Overtime after 40 hours/week (Mon-Sun)
· "On-call" stipend

Job requirements:
Must be able to:
- Supervise, train and develop team members to ensure proper safety, work techniques, and procedures are being used
- follow job scope as detailed by Project Manager, navigating the proper balance between executing and delegating
- routinely lift 50lbs
- work in hot, humid or wet environments
- wear a properly fitting respirator
- sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- repeatedly and routinely push/pull/lift/carry object 50lbs
- safely operate routinely used equipment and tools
- read, write and communicate effectively in English
- follow both verbal and written directions exactly as prescribed
- safely transport people and equipment to and from job sites (company van)
- document site conditions in a detailed manner
- have reliable transport to and from work
- provide proof of up to date required minimum vaccinations: Tetanus, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B. If not vaccinated, need to be prepared to get these vaccinations and provide proof
- maintain a drug-free workplace
Examples of tasks to be completed on a regular basis in accordance with established protocols:
- assess and maintain safety and security of job site
- oversee safety and performance of team members
- Supervise, train & develop crew members to ensure proper safety, work techniques, and procedures are being used
- communicate with project manager to report project status, updates, issues, or concerns
- oversee and/or perform set up of required equipment, containment structures, protection for flooring, carpet, furniture, etc.
- use supplied equipment to take and document readings (moisture meter, psychrometer, thermal camera, etc.)
- oversee and/or perform removal of damaged materials, correctly bag and dispose of debris from job site
- ensure all work areas are cleaned and vacuumed meticulously
- use and oversee use of provided cleaning agents and antimicrobials exactly as instructed
- ensure all required equipment is loaded up for the day
- ensure all equipment pulled from jobs is cleaned and serviced
- ensure van is clean and organized for the next day
The ideal candidate:
Must be presentable and personable as you are representing the company in the clients’ home.
- has minimum 2 years remediation/restoration experience
- possesses proven leadership skills
- holds IICRC certifications or has demonstrated working knowledge of IICRC standards and protocols (WRT and AMRT strongly preferred, Fire & Smoke and Trauma a plus)
- illustrates proven ability to effectively lead others with a hands-on approach – this position is very much a full-time crew member who will be in the trenches alongside their team members
- possesses strong work ethic: a desire to perform work in a customer-focused manner with an emphasis on quality and efficiency from beginning to end
- is self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude
- is eager to learn and looking to grow professionally
- willing and able to work all hours required (nights/weekend work may be substantial in emergency situations) and participate in the “on-call” rotations (nights and weekends)
- is team oriented and able to effectively adapt to various work environments and team members
- must take responsibility for themselves and their work, their team members and their work, and all company equipment
- has a clean driving record and no criminal background (past 7 years)
- thrives in high pressure and emergency situations
- takes pride in bringing calm and orderly solutions to sometimes disastrous conditions
