Dental Assistant Position

Morris Dental Solutions, Ltd. is seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated individual; excellent interpersonal and clinical skills is a must. Our office is a team-based environment and a successful candidate for the Dental Assistant position will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments and hygiene
  • Experience administering dental X-rays
  • Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office and other software
  • Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude
  • Experience: Dental Assistant, 1 year (Preferred)
  • Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is required

Duties and responsibilities of the Dental Assistant include:

  • Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for dentists
  • Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
  • Taking and processing X-rays of patients
  • Processing lab work for the dentist
  • Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
  • Taking billing and insurance details from patients
  • Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene
  • Updating and maintaining dental records
  • Handling general administrative and other duties to maintain the dental clinic

Office Hours

**The position averages 35 hours per week.

  • Mon: 10:00am-7:00pm (Lunch 2:00pm-3:00pm)
  • Tue: 8:00am-5:00pm (Lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm)
  • Wed: 8:00am-5:00pm (Lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm)
  • Thurs: 8:00am-5:00pm (Lunch 12:00pm-1:00pm)
  • Fri: Closed
  • Sat: 8:00am-1:00pm (Rotating Saturday Schedule)
  • Sun: Closed

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
