Summary Directs patient account, reimbursement services and process employee payroll in a facility by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

• Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as balancing office checkbook and creating financial reports, bookkeeping, preparation of time records, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
• Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
• Researches and develops resources that create timely and efficient workflow.
• Establishes uniform policies and procedures and style practices.
• Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.
• Plans office layout, develops office budget, and initiates cost reduction programs. Is responsible for year-end inventory.
• Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Prepares performance evaluations for guidance of management.
• Prepares Quality Improvement reports.
• Coordinates activities of various clerical departments or workers within department.
• Maintains contact with patients and outside vendors.
• Prepares departmental budget together with the Clinic Nurse Manager.
• Sets up and updates credentialing of providers and updates CAQH information.
