- Diagnose and repair problems with the engine, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and other systems.
- Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly.
- Perform test drives and use various equipment including compression gauges, diagnostic computers, etc.
- Follow vehicle health checklist, performing inspections efficiently and thoroughly.
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools safely while working on vehicles.
- Write vehicle damage repair estimates.

- A clean driving record and a valid driver's license
- 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Ability to pass a background check
