- Install various types of flooring materials, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, and tile
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
- Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring, repairing any damage, and ensuring a smooth surface
- Install underlayment and padding as needed
- Lay out flooring patterns and designs according to blueprints or customer preferences
- Secure flooring materials using adhesives, nails, staples, or other appropriate methods
- Trim and finish edges of flooring materials for a clean and professional look
- Clean up work area and remove any debris or waste materials
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience in flooring installation preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and installation techniques
- Ability to use tools such as saws, drills, and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and address any concerns or questions
