What will I do as a Maintenance Technician III?

• Complete all assigned work orders and preventive maintenance work on equipment and plant facilities as assigned and maintain records of work.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all buildings and equipment.
• Provide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of building and equipment.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Assist with outside grounds maintenance and snow removal when needed.

What do I need as a Maintenance Technician III?

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local nursing regulations.
• Must have five (5) years or more maintenance experience in carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair, and painting.
• Must be proficient in troubleshooting all aspects of electrical work, including control wiring.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible; able to work independently or as a team member with staff of all departments.
• Willing to work flexible hours including some evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
