Overview:
We are a small part day preschool program in mid-town Fort Collins. We value our small environment and providing a top quality experience for our children and their families. We have a stable staff who love coming to work every day and we are seeking another fun and passionate preschool teacher to join us for the Fall of 2024. As a Morning Glory Preschool staff member, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and educating young children during their time with us. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families and help shape their future.

Responsibilities:
- Support existing Pre-K staff in implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities
- Participate in fostering our safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children
- Support children learning foundational social-emotional development
- Provide physical education opportunities to promote gross motor skills
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and regulations
- Learning about the Colorado Shines and PDIS Credential 3.0 programs

Qualifications:
- Lead teacher qualified or can become lead teacher qualified through PDIS
-Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices, as well as basic knowledge of the Colorado Shines program
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting or interest in gaining experience
- Interest in creating a positive learning environment
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
