Position: Operations Director

Job Overview: As the PCA Home Care Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our growing home healthcare business, focusing on PCA services. This key position involves overseeing all aspects of hiring, onboarding, office management, and the intake and scheduling of our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Hiring and Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify staffing needs and create comprehensive job descriptions tailored to PCA services, including compliance with Maryland HCBS Waivers, CFC, and CPA's and CO programs.
  • Execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for PCA roles, ensuring adherence to relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding for PCA staff.

Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement an efficient onboarding process specific to PCA services, incorporating requirements from Maryland HCBS Waivers.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions to familiarize employees with company policies, procedures, and expectations related to PCA care.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork, training, and credentials are completed for new PCA team members in alignment with Maryland HCBS Waivers.

Office Management:

  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient office environment to support PCA operations, with consideration for compliance with Maryland HCBS Waivers.
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, and facilities management, focusing on PCA service needs.
  • Implement and improve administrative processes to enhance overall office productivity for PCA services.

Intake and Scheduling:

  • Collaborate with the client services team to manage the intake process for new PCA clients, ensuring compliance with Maryland HCBS Waivers.
  • Develop and maintain a streamlined scheduling system specifically designed for PCA services.
  • Ensure optimal staff allocation to meet PCA client needs and maintain high-quality service delivery, in accordance with Maryland HCBS Waivers.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards relevant to PCA services, including Maryland HCBS Waivers.
  • Implement and enforce compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies related to PCA services.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational processes to maintain high-quality standards in PCA service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the healthcare sector with a focus on PCA services.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements for PCA services, including Maryland HCBS Waivers.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and office management tools.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of Maryland HCBS Waivers is a plus.
