POSITION SUMMARY Accurately locate and deliver materials, supplies, and finished goods to fabrication or assembly areas in a timely manner to assure that production activities are not interrupted in the work cells and assembly lines. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Accurately locate and deliver materials, supplies, and finished goods to fabrication or assembly areas in a timely manner to assure that production activities are not interrupted in the work cells and assembly lines
• Read and interpret work orders, bills of material or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved and to what locations
• Transport materials to or from storage areas or work locations to designated areas using hand truck, electric tug, material carts, forklifts, etc.
• Open containers of purchased products, using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, carts and shelves by hand
• Verify that materials loaded and delivered are correct
• Report material discrepancies and / or shortages
• Operate gas or electric-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices
• Support and participate in Morgan Olson's PPS team efforts
• Adhere to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities
• Adhere to safety policies and practice behavioral based safety 100% of the time
• Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS

• Other duties as required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Job requires extensive standing, stooping or bending, lifting, reaching, twisting and turning to assemble parts.
• Lifting will involve fabricated parts and assemblies weighing anywhere from several pounds to 50 pounds. Parts weighing more than 50 pounds are handled with a hoist or with help from another team member.

PPE : Steel toed safety shoes, Safety glasses with side shields are always required. Other PPE such as hearing protection, gloves, safety goggles, respirators, etc.
