Major Responsibilities:
Setup and operate all standard and CNC machine shop equipment to produce high quality parts
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent certificate
· Machinist diploma or ample experience in a machine shop environment
Additional Requirements:
· Must be able to work as a team player to help everyone succeed
· Must have good problem-solving skills and ability to focus
· Must be safety-conscious
· Must manage time wisely, maintain good attendance
· Must adhere to all Company policies (safety, attendance, behavioral, etc.)
· Ability to work under demanding time constraints
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR §120.15.)
Physical Requirements:
· Must be capable of standing for the majority of an 8 to 10-hour workday
· Must be able to lift 35 pounds. Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly.
· Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment / moderate noise
· Frequently reach with hands and arms
· Constant use of hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel or handle and manipulate material, parts and tools
· Constant requirement of specific vision abilities including close vision, distant vision, depth
· Constantly wear eye and foot protection
