Morey Resorts is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Assistant Operations Manager for the Starlux Hotel. Responsibilities include providing operational and administrative support to the hotel’s Operations Manager. This individual will be involved in most aspects of hotel operations, including but not limited to, guest interaction and supervision of employees. Prior experience in customer service and hospitality is a must.

Candidates must possess the following qualities:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service in the hospitality or entertainment industries.
• Understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws/guidelines.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and our property management system (RDP).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated aptitude in problem solving, diffusing conflicts, and remaining calm under pressure.
• Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and a great attention to detail.
• Ability to type, file, sit, stand, and lift office supplies of up to 25 lbs.

This position is a full time, year-round benefitted role based in Wildwood, NJ. Individuals must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, holidays and weekends. During the peak summer season, additional hours will be required with a varying schedule that will include the 3pm – 11pm shift as well as on-call requirements.
