Job Summary

At Moran and Sons' Lumber (Moran Lumber) our business is focused on the manufacture and recycling of wood pallets. The Pallet Recycling Department Supervisor oversees the pallet recycling and repair operations at our dedicated facility in Phoenix Arizona. They provide oversight on raw materials coming and finished product leaving the facility. At Moran Lumber we recycle over 600,000 pallets yearly providing a net positive to our community and environment. We do this by limiting pallets that make it into landfill and reducing the demand for lumber to produce new pallets.

Moran Pallets & Wood Products is looking for an organized and responsible individual to join our team. They will be leading our team of employees that work at our outdoor recycling facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Purchasing used and broken pallets to be repaired.

- Connecting with and establishing good relations with pallet sellers.

- Ensuring pallet repairman have the tools they need to complete their job.

- Ensuring forklift operators have the supplies they need.

- Facililitating timely loading and unloading of trucks.

- Inventory Management.

- Order fulfillment.

- Employee management.

Qualification and Skills

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent

- Experience in the transportation, pallet industry, or woodworking industry preferred.

- Verbal and written communication skills.

- Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

- A driver's License (for company truck).

- Forklift experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
