Morales Group is Hiring a Case Packer Operator Near Indianapolis, IN
Pay Rate: $19.50/hour
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Job Duties:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Adhere to food safety and quality requirements.
- Prepare machine center for operation.
- Daily operation of case packer, which includes the startup, adjusting machine settings, changeovers, and cleaning of case packer.
- Tear down packages for quality checks.
- Monitor the production line while performing visual checks for problems such as pileups, jams, or glue that isn’t sticking properly.
- Perform machinery parts changeovers between different product runs.
- Clean conveyor, pans and lubricate machinery as needed.
- Verify work orders.
- Check adhesive/glue type and fill as required.
- Check the glue temperature setting.
- The ability to adapt to many situations is essential.
- Ability to train others.
- Ability to understand, record, and communicate product descriptions and codes.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
- Demonstrated ability to meet productivity standards.
- Observe safety and security procedures.
- Ability to do basic math.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
- Three months related work experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be computer literate.
