As a Legal Business Consulting Intern at Morae, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights into the intersection of law and business. This internship offers a dynamic environment where you will work closely with experienced consultants on a variety of projects aimed at driving innovation and efficiency within legal practices. You will have the chance to contribute to real-world client engagements while developing your analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on legal industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices. Analyze data and information to identify opportunities for improving operational effectiveness and profitability.
• Client Engagement: Assist consultants in client meetings and workshops. Participate in discussions to understand client needs, challenges, and objectives. Contribute ideas and recommendations for addressing client requirements.
• Project Support: Support consultants in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and solutions. Assist in project planning, data collection, and analysis. Prepare presentations, reports, and other deliverables for clients.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with consultants to identify inefficiencies in legal processes and workflows. Propose recommendations for streamlining operations, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Collaborate across departments to leverage resources and expertise. Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
• Professional Development: Take initiative to expand your knowledge of legal business consulting concepts and methodologies. Seek feedback from mentors and supervisors to enhance your skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, preferably in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience or coursework in law, business, or consulting is a plus.
