Position
The Director of Mitigation & Restoration Billing will oversee and enhance the efficiency of both our mitigation and restoration billing teams at Mooring. This leadership role involves close collaboration with both local and CAT mitigation and restoration operations teams, guiding daily billing, and spearheading initiatives for continual improvement. The role demands advanced computer skills, the ability to thrive in a demanding environment, and the competence to handle stressful situations with innovation and initiative. As a key leader, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, a commitment to process improvement, and a talent for organizing and directing the office's workflow
Essential Functions
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and/or T&M Pro software for estimating and invoicing T&M losses
  • Lead and mentor both Mitigation and Restoration billing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the use of Microsoft Excel and/or T&M Pro software for estimating and invoicing T&M losses.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless operation both on and off job sites.
  • Supervise data management (allocation) of all materials and equipment per project in Acumatica.
  • Ensure prompt processing and approval of job paperwork, including crew, equipment, and material sheets.
  • Schedule Restoration file reviews and attend WIP meetings.
  • Maintain and organize comprehensive job documentation for efficient invoicing.
  • Conduct regular job cost analysis to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Guarantee accurate T&M pricing application on each project.
  • Guarantee appropriate contracts are signed on each restoration project before work commences.
  • Foster strong relationships with the accounting, finance, mitigation, and restoration teams for efficient support.
  • Coordinate dispatch of mitigation billing team members for area wide events across all offices.
