About the open position:

As a Strategic Analytics Team Lead, you’ll lead the design and execution of predictive models, client deliverables, and custom reporting to ensure our clients’ success. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert on internal software usage, process, adherence, and conceptual topics. Additionally, you’ll lead a team of predictive data analysts, developing and guiding them in their roles.

To excel in this role, you should possess business acumen, hands-on experience in data modeling, proficiency in database manipulation and query languages like SQL, familiarity with tools like Alteryx and data science toolkits such as R or Python, and stellar project management skills.

This full-time, salaried position is remote and open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. The salary range starts at $110,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.

What you’ll do as a Strategic Analytics Team Lead:

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to a team of 2-5 predictive data analysts.
  • Oversee and ensure the successful and on time completion of client deliverables.
  • Manage project workload across team members to distribute work efficiently and appropriately based on individual ability and bandwidth.
  • Lead the design and execution of predictive models, client deliverables, and custom reporting.
  • Drive team meetings, strategy sessions, and foster an environment of collaboration.
  • Perform individual contributor duties as required and lead others by example of your own work quality.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the team on internal software usage, process definition and adherence, and conceptual topics.
  • Drive the enhancement and scaling of existing data products to bolster our product offerings.
  • Act as a bridge between developers, data professionals, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Present project findings to stakeholders both within and outside of the organization

What you’ll bring to the Strategic Analytics Team Lead role:

  • Advanced degree in mathematics, economics, data science, or other related fields, or bachelor’s degree and comparable work experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a position with an emphasis in consumer marketing.
  • 4 years of experience in a position with an emphasis in predictive modeling.
  • 4 years of experience in a position with an emphasis in large data manipulation.
  • Experience presenting and sharing project findings to stakeholders of varying backgrounds.
  • Strong background in database manipulation and adeptness in SQL.
  • Proficiency with standard data science toolkits, such as R or Python.
  • Stellar project management capabilities, with a knack for handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team growth and development.
