Job Title: Electrical Apprentice

Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Projects Division as an Electrical Apprentice for projects in Danville and surrounding areas. There is opportunity for you to attend Trade School at NO COST to you.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the Electrical trade while providing high-quality installs to our commercial clients. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance and supervision of experienced mechanics and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in commercial electrical systems and the installation process involved with new construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist experienced Electrical Mechanics with installing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
  • Learn and follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
  • Gather, retrieve, deliver, and organize material in specific job site areas.
  • Ability to read a tape measure, use hand tools, work from heights and in cramped/awkward spaces at times.
  • Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interest in the trades and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be performed.
