Outstanding manufacturer of Rugged Military Grade computers and displays seeks Assembler to assemble and test basic and complex electro-mechanical sub assemblies, computer chassis and computer systems. Using assorted hand and power tools, will follow various drawings, blueprints and written or oral instructions.
This position is Monday-Friday with the work hours of 6AM-2:30PM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Uses tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.
-Under limited supervision works from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systems.
-Communicates ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditions.
-Maintains a clean and organized work area.
-Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-Basic computer proficiency
-Minimum of one (1) year assembly experience
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
