Job Responsibilities:
• Schedule and perform facility safety inspections
• Assist with safety rules implementation
• Maintain current safety programs
• Deliver and conduct safety training for managers, crew supervisors and department leads
• Prepare summaries regarding in-house safety audits and injury investigations
• Conduct injury investigation for all facilities
• Conduct new hire training
• Process injury claims while working with Human Resource Clerk
• Process new hire paperwork for field personnel
• Meet compliance and reporting of federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
Bilingual (Eng/Spa) a plus
Prior experience handling compliance to Fed/OSHA, Cal/OSHA, DOL and other governmental agency regulations
Ability to perform audits, inspections, training, identify and correct hazards, etc.
Detail-orientated and focused on reducing accidents, injuries, and workplace violence.
Handle accident/incident investigation, medical treatment, corrective actions, and maintain excellent records.
Pay Range: Min ($17.50) to Max ($18.50)
This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above. If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
