Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of vehicles, including roll-off trucks, manual transmission vehicles, and heavy equipment. This position involves transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as tractor-trailers, delivery trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbed trucks
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in driving various types of vehicles including roll-off trucks, manual transmission vehicles, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to drive different types of freight vehicles such as refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbed trucks
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures while operating vehicles
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
