We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a critical role that ensures the safe and efficient operation of our transportation assets. The Fleet Manager will utilize product knowledge and software systems to accurately and proactively resolve issues and improve operational efficiency of the overall vehicle fleet

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinate with service technicians and mechanics to schedule repairs and maintenance.
- Perform equipment repairs, including tire service, tractor-trailer assembly, automotive diagnostics, alignment, Hydraulics, Welding, Fabrication, Body Shop and more.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and CHP safety regulations and standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all fleet assets
- Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and other performance metrics
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement -Conduct Annual and 90 Day Inspections throughout the Fleet -Manage fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition and offboarding
- Train and supervise fleet maintenance staff which consist of 3 Shop Supervisors and 20 Mechanics. - Oversee a Fleet Size of 50 - 100 Units

-Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities. Maintain and upkeep Maintenance Files. -Develop and implement strategies to optimize utilization and cost -efficiency. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. -Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment, an independent, hands-on problem solver at different levels that take clear ownership of tasks.

-· Develops and coordinates maintenance program for all heavy equipment company wide. Management to include the scheduling of equipment mechanics and lube techs as well as managing vendors for these tasks. Maintains and organizes equipment maintenance area. Conducts part purchasing. -Assists in the management of the Construction Division by reporting to and coordinating with the President. -· Works in close coordination with the President to schedule and arrange equipment moves. -Monitors actual costs versus budget costs -Ensure all repair orders are completed and processed in accordance with guidelines; approve all maintenance expenditures and submit invoices for approval/payment. -Minimize fleet downtime and units out of service. -Ensure warranty submissions meet or exceed business plan and are properly submitted. -Hire, train, engage, energize, set up for success, coach and recognize team members to enable a high-performing culture.

Experience:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in fleet management. -Experience with different type of Fleet Management Software
- Proven experience in equipment repair, tire service, tractor-trailer assembly, automotive diagnostics, alignment, etc. -Familiar with Cummins Engine
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and power tools
- Previous experience as a Fleet/Shop Manager role is preferred
