Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or garage door installation/servicing and heavy lifting.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing various types of residential and commercial doors, including springs, tracks, pulleys, panels, hardware, and other components at customer's locations.
• Performing preventive maintenance on garage doors to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Installing new door openers and repairing existing ones.
• Repairing or replacing broken springs, hinges, tracks, pulleys, panels, and other components of garage doors.
• Maintain safe work environment, take proper precautions to ensure safety measures are in place and utilized.
• Support and work alongside Lead Garage Door Technician.
• Keep a jobsite and truck neat and clean.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to climb and work from ladders both extension and A-Frame.
• Must be able to lift over 70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to operate company truck.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Skills/Abilities

• Must posses mechanical aptitude.
• Good decision-making skills and response to high pressure situations.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical components.
• Must have ability and experience to utilize hand tools and power tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
