This job opening applies to our 2DOT business line. Two Dot Consulting (2DOT), an affiliate of Montrose Environmental Group, is an interdisciplinary Environmental and Engineering firm located in Arvada, CO and Windsor, CO with 30 employees with combined experience of more than 125 years.
We focus on environmental engineering, natural resource management, permitting, remediation / reclamation, soil, water, and air quality, technology, and cost-saving measures for environmental consulting.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
2DOT is in search of an entry-level Environmental Specialist I - Stormwater Inspector - to be located at our Windsor, CO office.
The applicant must reside within 30 miles of the Windsor Office and be willing to commute to the office daily.
As a key member of the 2DOT team, you will conduct Stormwater (SW) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) inspections using digital survey software collected on mobile devices Survey123, Field Maps). This position involves >
80% field work on average. Some office work will include daily planning for field work and completion of daily field day summaries following standard 2DOT templates.
The inspector will use 2DOT fleet vehicles to visit oil and gas field locations and evaluate SW compliance. SW compliance inspections will involve walking on location and examining infrastructure, control measures, and assessing potential for pollutants leaving the location.
2DOT will provide comprehensive safety and SW training to new hires.
