- Valid MN drivers license (or valid within 30 days)
- One year of experience related to ice arena facility maintenance
- Two years of ice resurfacer experience
- Familiarity with ice maintenance equipment and proceducures for completion of day to day work objectives
- Ability to work a variety of hours including days, evenings and weekends
- Considerable ability to follow oral and written instruction, to complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Establish and maintain a consistent attendance record and no tardiness
- Prioritize work and perform duties independently
- Ability in meeting needs with a positive attitude and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of computer and standard applications

Job Summary:
The responsibilities of the Ice Arena Maintenance/Operations Lead include operation of the ice resurfacer before and after rental times, custodial work, training of part time staff, supervising volunteer concession workers, handling receipts from the concession stand, pro shop and various hockey groups. This position effectively handles a variety of customer service situations and is responsible for fostering superior customer service.
