This position is responsible for the day-to-day processing of the department's payroll, accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and other financial records. Primary duties include tracking accounts, evaluating bookkeeping procedures, tracking, and processing State and Federal grants to ensure accuracy of financial records.

High school graduate with one (1) year experience as a Fiscal Assistant/Accounting Tech II; or a high school graduate with three (3) years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one (1) year of responsible work involving the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; or one (1) year of experience and an Associate's Degree in accounting or business administration.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
* Excellent math and bookkeeping skills;
* Organizational ability to work with internal and external deadline and constraints;
* Excellent inter-personal, oral and written communication skills;
* Must project a professional demeanor at all times and work well as part of a team;
* Ability to prioritize and accurately complete all fiscal office tasks;
* Proficient in MS Office, databases, and financial/accounting software.
