This is a three (3)-year term position, continued employment in this position is contingent upon renewal of term.
Position may be filled at the following levels:
Administrative Specialist II, Grade 21 with a salary range of $61,788 - $80,008
Administrative Specialist I, Grade 18 with a salary range of $54,583 - $70,343.
About the Department:
The Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (DOCR) is responsible for the intake, reception and diagnostic functions including law enforcement processing of male and female offenders arrested or charged as adults in Montgomery County. Responsibility also includes the custody and care of male and female offenders who are either in a pre-trial status or serving sentences of up to 18 months. Progressive and comprehensive correctional services and programs are provided to all inmates covering substance abuse treatment, mental health issues, cognitive behavioral modification programs, education, life skills, and workforce development.
The Department is seeking Administrative Specialist II an individual that is self-motivated to assist with the KRONOS Telestaff Scheduling Application, Montgomery County Timekeeping MCtime, Workers Compensation process, payroll timecard correction and visual information/Social Media content management. This position will be in the Management Services Division, Information Technology Section.

Minimum Qualifications
If filled at Administrative Specialist II:
Experience: Two (2) years of professional administrative experience in scheduling, timekeeping, payroll system support, social media, work project control and/or personnel administration.
If filled at Administrative Specialist I:
Experience: One (1) year of professional administrative experience in scheduling, timekeeping, payroll system support, social media, work project control and/or personnel administration.
