Contract: up to 120 days per school year
Compenation: $40-$60/per hour
Job Title: Class D Driver Training Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to join our team as a Class D Driver Training Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs for Class D driving instructors. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Class D driver requirements, excellent communication skills, and a passion for ensuring safe and efficient driving practices.
Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive training programs for Class D drivers and Class D Driving Instructors, including both theoretical and practical components.
Create training materials, presentations, and manuals tailored to the specific needs of a Class D driving school.
Conduct training sessions for new and existing Class D drive instructors, ensuring they understand and adhere to relevant regulations and best practices.
Coordinate with relevant departments to schedule and organize training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews.
Identify areas for improvement in instructor trainging, driver training and develop strategies to address them.
Stay up-to-date with changes in state and federal regulations, technologies, and best practices related to Class D driver training.
Monitor and track the progress of drive instructors through training programs, providing support and guidance as needed.
Collaborate with management to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and objectives.
Maintain accurate records of training activities, including attendance, performance, and compliance.
Qualifications:
Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
Certification as a Class D driving instructor and Class D training manager is required.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.
Previous experience in driver training, preferably with a focus on Class D drivers.
In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, laws, and best practices related to Class D driving.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate drivers.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using training software and other relevant technology tools.
