Position Summary
The Montessori School of Raleigh (MSR) seeks an After-School Care Guide for the 2024-2025 school year beginning August 1, 2024. Under the general direction of the Auxiliary Programs Manager and Head of Lower School, the ideal candidate will partner with faculty in providing support and supervision during the after-school care program from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m. This role entails maintaining and providing an environment and experience as an extension of the school day which supports students, staff, parents, Montessori philosophy, and MSR policies. Positions are available to work with students ages 15 months to grade 6. This position will be expected to work full days on school in-service days, conference days, school half-days, and during Spring Break.
Overview
Established in 1974, MSR is a vibrant and exceptional independent Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) World School school in the Triangle area serving 400 students aged 6 weeks through 18 years. Our beautifully designed Lead Mine Campus, situated on 10 acres in North Raleigh, comprises five buildings in a child-centered, village-like setting surrounded by wetlands and protected forest.
