Montessori Lab School at Grand Center is currently seeking a full time temporary Young Children's Classroom Assistant. . As an assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to the lead guide and maintaining a positive learning environment for students.

Duties:

-Work with children primarily aged 15 months to 2 years

-Do various additional duties including helping with dishes, laundry, general upkeep of the school

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members in the Montessori environment to ensure continuity

Requirements:

- Interest in or experience with Montessori education

- Comfortability working with wide age range of children

- Kind, flexible, willing to support various tasks in a school environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and learning environments

- Flexibility and availability to work on short notice

Please note that a background check may be required for employment as an Assistant Teacher.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
