Montessori Academy is Hiring a Preschool Teacher Assistant Near Montgomery, AL
If you are kind, patient, and truly enjoy working with children, we would love to talk to you. At Montessori Academy you will be a part of a small, close-knit group of amazing teachers. You will have the opportunity to grow as an educator and make a real difference in the lives of the children in your care. I am currently in need of two full-time teacher assistants, and one full-time employee to assist in the office and in classrooms as needed. Starting pay is based on experience and level of education.
Requirements for employment:
- Must be 19 years old with a minimum high school diploma.
- Be able to pass a background check, have a valid picture ID, and be able to fulfill all other DHR requirements.
- Have at least one year of experience working in a preschool setting.
- Must be kind, patient, dependable, and enjoy working with children.
- Willing to learn the Montessori method and implement positive discipline techniques.

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities.
- Support classroom management by helping with student supervision.
- Utilize communication skills to interact effectively with children and staff.
- Assist in creating a nurturing and safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth operation of the classroom.
- Utilize preschool experience to enhance the educational experience for students.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
